If you're anything like me, you can never have enough snowmen! This block snowman project is not only unique but also incredibly fun to create. To create this adorable project , gather the following supplies:
3 wooden blocks measuring 3.5x3.5 inches
White, black, red, and orange acrylic paint
Clock hands for the nose
Garland and greenery of your choice
E-6000 glue
Hot glue
Ribbon
Glitter
Twigs for arms
Start by sanding the blocks slightly to smooth out any rough spots.
Paint the blocks white, allowing some of the wood color to show through for that awesome rustic look.
I just love that look!
Secure the blocks together using a combination of E-6000 glue and hot glue.
This combination really holds them together!
I grabbed my twigs and decided where I wanted to place them .
I predrilled two holes for them to be glued in .
You will see in the picture I did drill the first two holes in the wrong place..... then I place them in the right area!
Add a touch of red for rosy cheeks, remember to start light then add more if you want them darker.
So cute already!
I love using different items to create his nose . With this project I decided to use clock hands.
Adorable don't you think?
I also painted it Orange!
For the hat, I repurposed an empty Parmesan cheese container and the cardboard circle from a ribbon to create the rim.
Paint everything black, glue the pieces together, and embellish the hat with two different ribbons.
You can add whatever embellishments you want for your hat.
I used a Salt Dough Christmas tree I made awhile back along with some greenery and a poinsettia.
I used this same recipe to make the Salt dough trees and Snowmen!
Decorate the snowman with a delightful garland and whimsical greenery on the hat.
You can add whatever else you want on your hat ! It looks so whimsical!
To add a snowy touch, splatter the hat with white paint using an old toothbrush.
I added a little raffia bow .
Of course my favorite craft supply item I love using this Snow Tex to add a little snow to the hat .
I then sprinkle it with Diamond Dust and some fine glitter!
There it is so pretty I love how this snowman turned out !
Your snowman will sparkle throughout the winter season.
He's perfect for leaving out all winter long! Don't you think so?
