Paper sack Pumpkin

Updated: 2 days ago

Fall is such a beautiful time of the year !

I love Pumpkins the more the better !

I’m always so excited to create new pumpkins to display throughout the season!

This one is just super fun to make I know you will love it too!

Supplies you will need:

• 8 Brown paper sacks you can choose the size you want.

• twine

• embellishments of your choosing ( you can use artificial greenery or make your own roses )

• scissors

• hot glue

• filler for your pumpkin (I used plastic bags)

Once you get everything ready you can cut the bottom of your sack off.

Just follow the fold and cut.

It should look like this .

Once you get them cut then crinkle them up like this .

You can grunge them up .

I used my coffee dye .

It’s coffee , cinnamon, vanilla and a little clove .

I usually use 1 teaspoon of each spice .

I just dip them in .

Squeeze out the access.

Once done I put mine outside and let dry in the sun .

While they were drying I took another sack to make my roses.

I crinkled it up like this .

You don’t cut this one .

I just start twisting the bag like this .

You keep twisting until it looks like this .

These are super easy and fun to make !

I set them aside.

I got my dry rings and tied two together.

So I had 4 bundles of 2 tied together.

Then I took one long piece of twine and tied them all together.

Then you can start separating and spreading the sacks.

It should look like this .

Then I grabbed some plastic bags and used as filler for the pumpkin.

It should look like this .

I then added a stem . I made one with another sack .

You can use whatever you want . A real stem or even a branch.

In my pumpkin making I have used so many different things.

I also had a crocheted piece that I decided to glue around it .

I then glued my roses on .

I got my watercolor paints and gave my flowers some color.

I added a little raffia a little bit of greenery and a Fall tag and it just looks so darn pretty!
