I pulled my supplies together and started creating.

I already had a coffee dyed sock on hand from previous projects so I thought it would be perfect for this project!
It measures about 4” long.

Here’s what my bee body looks like.
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/3b5104_b2807611da7d4406a80eff44cc1784e6~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_1247,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/3b5104_b2807611da7d4406a80eff44cc1784e6~mv2.jpg)
I glued my body leaving a spot open so I could stuff it with the filler.
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/3b5104_f9b6c5ffc6f34db490449fd37fd4ccf9~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_1067,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/3b5104_f9b6c5ffc6f34db490449fd37fd4ccf9~mv2.jpg)
You just need a little stuffing.
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/3b5104_4799a76c9e634e33b7bded44109f311a~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_1117,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/3b5104_4799a76c9e634e33b7bded44109f311a~mv2.jpg)
After stuffing the body I glued the last opening spot shut.
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/3b5104_5f25c34682c94aee89e69417893f04b3~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_1266,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/3b5104_5f25c34682c94aee89e69417893f04b3~mv2.jpg)
I freehanded some wings and got a piece of flexible wire.
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/3b5104_69f8592dbcd34b9ab8e20e37984bd083~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_1275,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/3b5104_69f8592dbcd34b9ab8e20e37984bd083~mv2.jpg)
I shaped my wire like this .
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/3b5104_e64829c91c7648139e9d5e91679f5a9a~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_1001,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/3b5104_e64829c91c7648139e9d5e91679f5a9a~mv2.jpg)
I glued my wire and then layed the material over it.
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/3b5104_bf56e20de66e49a2b1d81ceba2b5cd7d~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_980,h_889,al_c,q_90,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/3b5104_bf56e20de66e49a2b1d81ceba2b5cd7d~mv2.png)
This is how it will look you can do this step whichever way you want .
I found it was easier to lay a larger piece of material over the wire then trim it when I was done.
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/3b5104_2d2c2b0f53264fa6ba77cbf31e9e560e~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_1017,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/3b5104_2d2c2b0f53264fa6ba77cbf31e9e560e~mv2.jpg)
I went head and trimmed the access material on the other side .
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/3b5104_911be2895bb7472e9f7f69954d09009e~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_1003,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/3b5104_911be2895bb7472e9f7f69954d09009e~mv2.jpg)
Here’s my wings . I love the wire in it so I can form it which ever way I want.
I also tied a little piece of material around the middle.
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/3b5104_71a58e52cc0249c18389e7c1cf2b6f5b~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_982,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/3b5104_71a58e52cc0249c18389e7c1cf2b6f5b~mv2.jpg)
I decided to tie a piece of twine around his neck to form the shape a little more .
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/3b5104_360505196a494599a8b9d5fd8866456d~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_1282,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/3b5104_360505196a494599a8b9d5fd8866456d~mv2.jpg)
I choose this color for my lighter stripes.
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/3b5104_0d1d70b2b9cb4c5eb7322eec3587e060~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_980,h_1191,al_c,q_90,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/3b5104_0d1d70b2b9cb4c5eb7322eec3587e060~mv2.png)
This is a better look at the color cinnamon I used . You can use any yellow shade you like .

This is what the cinnamon color looks like on my material along with the black stripes!

I got a piece of wire for his antennas.
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/3b5104_1ff3f1cf87274379b6c1d621a6af5cee~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_1082,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/3b5104_1ff3f1cf87274379b6c1d621a6af5cee~mv2.jpg)
I bent the wire and curled the ends with my needle nose pliers.
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/3b5104_06b0add83ba84b1ba070305004e14afb~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_1144,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/3b5104_06b0add83ba84b1ba070305004e14afb~mv2.jpg)
Look at those adorable antennas!
I also gave his body and wings a little grungy touch with my Dixie Belle Brown wax.

I used a little wire to create his stringer.
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/3b5104_db3d7b812ed94a19a30fae5055f3c4d5~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_1130,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/3b5104_db3d7b812ed94a19a30fae5055f3c4d5~mv2.jpg)
His little stringer looks perfect!
