Heart Pom Poms made with Yarn and a Fork!

Hearts are the perfect follow up Project for after the Christmas season!

Valentine’s Day is not only about making beautiful DIYs but it’s also about spreading Love where ever you go !

These sweet Pom Pom hearts are so perfect for doing just that !

These make such a perfect little gift just to brighten someone’s day !

Use them as Dough bowl fillers, string together to make a garland or on a year round tree!

I know you will want to make several of them for sure!

They are sooo budget friendly indeed!

Supplies you will need:

• Yarn

• Fork

• hot glue

• long needle and thread ( if you choose to sew them together instead of gluing)

• twine

• wooden beads

• scissors

Once you have gathered your items you are ready to start creating these sweet little Pom Pom hearts!

I first cut a piece of yarn to put on my fork from front to back .

Maybe about 5 “ long.

You want this piece of yarn to be placed like this .

Here’s a back view.

Now you get your yarn and start wrapping.

Make sure you are holding your shorter piece of yarn with your fingers while you wrap so you don’t accidentally wrap them with the other yarn .

I wrapped it about 35 times .

Once you are done now take those pieces and tie it in the middle!

Nice and tight.

Now you are able to slip it off your fork.

You will need 3 Pom Poms per heart .

Now you can either glue it together or sew it together it’s up to you .

I glued the two top Pom Poms together then the bottom one.

I also did some where I sewed it together .

You just thread your long needle and stack the Pom Poms like this then tie them together.

Pretty easy!

Once I was done gluing them. I went ahead and trimmed them .

They are just so cute !

I love making these. They are addictive once you start making them you will want to make several!

They would also be adorable as a garland!

Then add a little twine with a wooden bead for a hanger .

Here they are ! Ready to be displayed!

I just love how they look on my small kitchen tree!

Here are the other ones I did !

The sky is the limit on what colors you choose to make them.

These are just so pretty!

I just love how these sweet hearts turned out!

So quick so easy and so budget friendly!

It’s amazing how you start with scraps of things and end up with something so cute!
