Valentine’s Day is not only about making or receiving sweet treats but also time for heart-themed decorating!
I love making fun and quick DIY projects that are budget friendly and beautiful to display in your home or simply give as a gift!
This tutorial is so easy to make and you probably have everything you need to create these beautiful Farmhouse hearts! .
Supplies you need:
• Material
• poly stuffing
• needle and thread
• artificial greenery and ribbon
• Brown wax
• stamped tag and safety pin
• Scissors
• heart pattern
Once you gather your items you are ready to cut out your hearts .
This is the pattern I drew to use for my heart .
It measures 9 1/2 “ long and about 4” wide on the top of heart.
It tapers down to 1/2 “ at the bottom.
Cut your hearts out of whatever material you choose.
I love this striped material I used I will leave a link for it at the end.
I then put my hearts right sides together and sewed it all around .
I left a little opening to be able to stuff it .
Before stuffing them turn them out the right side out!
If you don’t want to sew it together you can hot glue them but I chose to sew them .
Stuff your hearts as much as you want .
Once I was done I went ahead and sewed the opening shut.
There they are ! Pretty already!
I got my tags ready and stamped !
This is paper I made with egg cartons!
I’ll leave the link to that at the end also .
I then grunged up my hearts with my brown wax this step is totally up to you!
I tied a pretty piece of ribbon and added a little greenery to it !
Then I added my tags!
I just love these hearts !
So quick so easy and simply so pretty!
It’s amazing how you start with scraps of things and end up with something so cute!
