DIY Snowflake with Hangers

This DIY has been around a long time so I know you have seen these probably everywhere!

They are just so much fun to make !

I usually make them one layer only so they don’t require as many hangers and still look pretty cool!

Supplies you will need:

• Hangers either plastic or metal I have made them with both !

• I used 8 plastic hangers for this snowflake

• Zip Ties or Pipe cleaners

• Hot glue

• embellishments of your choosing for the center of your snowflake

Once you have your hangers you are ready to put them together!

I started like this . Make sure your flat sides are touching together.

Then I added these . Your curved area and your corner area touches together.

Once I positioned them the way I wanted I attached them together.

Use as many pipe cleaners that you need .

I didn’t have any clear or white zip ties handy

So pipe cleaners it is!😀

I just pretty much attached them securely once I was happy with their placement.

I love making them one layer of hangers only because then they are light enough for me to hang them out side from my tree!

I chose to use a wooden snowflake I painted white and sprinkled with diamond dust glitter!

You can use artificial greenery for the middle.

Some artificial Poinsettias whatever you decide I’m sure it will look great !

I attached my snowflake to the middle.

That’s it so quick and simple !

I hope you give these a try !

I usually hang several of these from my trees outside!

I also run twinkle lights in them as well.

This is such a fun and very budget friendly project!
