I love this project so much!
I was inspired by Just that Perfect Piece in making this adorable mini Boot!
Please make sure you check hers out.
I had to create one myself and adding my own twist!
These are just so much fun to make I know you will want to make several of them !
Supplies you need:
• Cardboard
• Christmas print napkin
• Mod Podge or Clear Elmer glue
• Hot glue
• faux fur or loopy yarn
• embellishment for your boot • empty roll of tissue paper
• black acrylic paint
• piece of material or burlap
• twine
• brown wax or brown paint
• poly filler
Once you have gathered your items you are ready to start creating your mini Boot!
I first used the end of my tissue paper roll as a guide to draw out two circles .
Once you do that then you can draw a couple of lines to connect them together like the picture above.
You have now created the bottom of the boot.
Now I just cut them out.
You will need two .
I took my burlap and I glued my napkin on it .
Make sure you peel the back piece off the napkin .
I got this napkin on Amazon .
I used Clear glue for this step .
I took my mini press and ironed it .
You can use your regular iron . Make sure you put a piece of parchment paper over it .
This step will smooth out your napkin .
I trimmed the burlap off and was left with this .
I then glued my piece on my roll .
I glued the edge down around the top .
I cut 1/4 “ piece of the roll before I glued anything on.
I then glued the bottom of my boot on .
I took that little piece I had and cut open.
Then I glued on the boot like the picture below.
You are now creating the toe area of the boot.
I also added a little poly filler to the top area of the boot before adding my burlap.
I forgot to take a picture of that.
I took my burlap and proceeded to cover the top .
It’s looking so cute already !
I glued the access on the bottom of the boot .
I painted the other sole black.
Once it dried I glued it to the bottom of my Boot .
If you want a thicker sole just add more cardboard then cover your edge .
I used twine to trim it .
You can use thin ribbon for this step also.
It just gives it a nice finished look!
I also ran it across the top of the boot.
I then added my faux fur and glued a glittery snowflake!
It’s just so cute !
I of course wanted to grunge up my fur so I used my brown wax . You can skip this step if you want too.
You need to create these! 😀❤️
