There is nothing better then a Chippy Old clay pot !

I love the vibes it brings! This one was so easy to create I was inspired (by the Ponds Farmhouse! )

make sure you check hers out!

This was so easy and budget friendly to create you will want to make several!

These would be so pretty just about anywhere imagine these holding your napkins , or your silverware on your picnic table ! The places to use them are endless!

Supplies Needed:

  • Flower silicone mold

  • Clay Pot

  • Cream or White paint ( acrylic or chalk)

  • Brown Paint ( acrylic or chalk)

  • Gold leaf Rub n Buff

  • E-6000

  • Hot Glue Tool

  • Hot Glue sticks

  • Miniwax Clear matte finish

I picked up a clay pot at Family Dollar for $2 and I got the mold on Amazon I’ll drop the link for it at the end of this blog!

I used my Hot glue to fill the silicone mold !

Once dried I was able to remove them and they were ready to go!

I went ahead and brushed on some Brown here and there on the flower pot.

It should look like this .

Once that dried I took my E -6000 and put some on the rim of the pot .

This will help hold the trim on .

I took my floral trim and added some hot glue to the back and pressed it on the rim with the E-6000 .

This will make sure it all holds together.

Then I took my white paint and brushed it on .

I wanted that brown to also show through so don’t paint it solid .

You should have something like this .

Once paint was dry I took my Rub n Buff in Gold Leaf and rubbed some on here and there!

I used my finger but you can use a paper towel too it’s totally up to you!

Look how pretty that is !

I also rubbed some on the sides of the pot and on the rim and the bottom edge of the pot too!

Once everything dries you can apply a coat of clear finish on it .

Look how adorable that is ! So inexpensive to create!

I’m always so excited to share how to create these fun projects with you!

I hope you get creative and make several of these!

What a beautiful way to decorate and still be on track budget wise!
